Barcode production guide

ZPL vs TSPL: which thermal label format should I export?

Choose the printer command language that matches Zebra-compatible or TSC-compatible hardware.

Use ZPL for Zebra and printers whose firmware explicitly supports Zebra Programming Language. Use TSPL for TSC-compatible printers and models that document TSPL or TSPL2 support. The command languages are not interchangeable, so confirm the printer manual, DPI and label dimensions before sending a production batch.
